Workwear buyers ask different questions than sportswear buyers. Nobody is asking about sublimation printing on a boiler suit. They are asking whether the fabric will survive a wash cycle at an industrial laundry and whether the visibility strips meet what their safety officer asked for.
Fabric for boiler suits and coveralls
Boiler suits are usually made from a poly-cotton blend, commonly 65% polyester and 35% cotton, at 240 to 280 GSM. That blend holds up to repeated industrial washing better than pure cotton and resists tearing under regular manual work.

- Construction: twill weave, reinforced at the knees and elbows on request
- Closures: full front zip or button closure, depending on the industry
- Pockets: chest, thigh, and tool pockets can be added to the pattern
Hi-visibility jackets and safety compliance
Hi-vis jackets combine a bright base fabric, usually fluorescent yellow or orange, with reflective tape sewn in horizontal and vertical bands. If your buyers need the jacket to meet a specific national or international visibility standard, confirm the exact standard and class with us before production, since the tape width, placement, and fabric brightness all need to match that standard’s test requirements. We manufacture to the specification you confirm; we do not certify garments ourselves.
Security and industrial jackets
Security and site jackets typically use a heavier polyester or poly-cotton shell, often with a water-resistant coating and a quilted or fleece lining for outdoor shifts. These are usually ordered with embroidered branding rather than sublimation, since the fabric and coating do not take sublimation dye well.

- Hi-vis vests or jackets with reflective tape placement confirmed against your required standard

- Matching trousers where the order calls for a full uniform set
Ordering process and lead time
Minimum order is 20 units per design. Standard production runs 15 to 25 working days after sample approval and deposit. For safety-standard workwear, build in extra time for confirming compliance details before the tech pack is finalized, since changes after cutting starts are harder to correct on workwear than on printed sportswear.
