Custom American football uniforms carry more engineering than any other team sport we manufacture. The uniform shell has to fit over shoulder pads and a girdle without restricting movement, which changes the fabric choice, the cut, and the seam placement compared to a standard jersey.
Fabric for football jerseys and pants
Football jerseys use a heavier, stretch-capable fabric than soccer or basketball because the shell needs to hold its shape over pads and survive contact. Most orders use a polyester-spandex blend at 200 to 240 GSM, which gives enough stretch to pull over shoulder pads while resisting tearing during tackles.
Pants are cut with pockets for thigh and knee pads, usually in a slightly heavier weave than the jersey to handle turf abrasion.

Shoulder pads, thigh pads, and knee inserts are typically sourced separately from specialized pad manufacturers and fitted into the pockets we build in. Printing and team branding
Sublimation is the standard for full-color designs, team names, and numbers, since it prints into the polyester fiber and will not crack under the stretch and contact this sport puts on fabric. Embroidery works for a small crest on the sleeve but is not suitable for large chest logos on a stretch shell.

Ordering process and timeline
Minimum order is 20 sets per design. Bulk production runs 15 to 25 working days after sample approval and deposit.
